Overview Citation V
The Cessna Citation V jet was produced in the late 1980s. Its design was based more on Citation II/SP, the most advanced light jets at the time. When Citation V was produced, it had one of the largest cabins in the light jets and more significant luggage space than many of its competitors.
Among Citation V’s specifications, the Pratt and Whitney JT15D-5A high-performance engines give it one of the most impressive ranges of any light-class aircraft. Each engine has a thrust of 2,900 pounds.
Citation V private aircraft also has Honeywell’s advanced avionics system to ensure a comfortable flight. Instruments in this package include the Global-Wolfsburg GNS-X NAV control system, Honeywell’s standard dual-tube EFIS system, autopilot, and Loran-C sensor. The optional avionics also contains a multi-function display for the center console, Collins Proline II communication, and navigation system.
