The Lear 35 is a slightly longer, turbofan version of the Learjet 25. Equipped with the recognizable torpedo-shaped wing tip fuel tanks, it has great range, and depending on payload can travel the continental U.S. nonstop. The aircraft is equipped with two Honeywell TFE731-2-2B engines that give the 35 low fuel burn and high cruise speeds.
The Lear 35 features an updated avionics system, and a noise reduction system that complies with noise restrictions in affect at many airports for takeoff and landing. The cabin can accommodate seating for six to eight travelers in a double club layout. There is typically a refreshment center onboard and 40 cubic feet of luggage space.
